As a Project Manager, Mike oversees projects from contract award through completion. He coordinates subcontractors, manages project schedules, monitors budgets, and handles change orders while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. His focus is on delivering efficient, well-executed projects while maintaining strong communication with both clients and the LTJ team.

Mike enjoys the collaborative environment at LTJ. As a smaller, close-knit company, the team operates with a strong sense of trust, accountability, and teamwork. This dynamic allows the team to communicate directly, solve problems quickly, and work together to deliver quality results for clients.

One of Mike’s greatest strengths is his hands-on industry experience combined with leadership. He began his career as a welder and fabricator before moving into management roles. This background gives him a practical understanding of fabrication and welding processes, allowing him to make informed decisions and lead projects with credibility both in the office and on the shop floor.

One project Mike is especially proud of is working on the Control Tower Roof Improvements project at Grand Junction Regional Airport in Colorado. Contributing to a high-visibility project that supports airport operations and the surrounding community has been a rewarding experience.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and taking trips around Colorado to explore the state’s landscapes. He also enjoys playing golf and visiting the shooting range when he has the opportunity.

A fun fact about Mike is that he enjoys working with logos and solving puzzles. He likes the challenge of figuring out how pieces fit together and seeing the final result come to life.
